Our Catholic school is part of the Catholic Church. We work in partnership with our local parish and priests in order to enrich the spiritual life of the students, staff and families of our school, especially through the celebration of the Sacraments.
Our school is an integral part of the parish of John the Baptist Bonnyrigg and is strongly involved in the sacramental life and programs of the parish. Families share an active role in the preparation of the sacraments with their child, and the school works closely with the parish priest and sacramental team. Sacramental programs are based in the parish with support from the school.
Sacraments received are:
- Sacrament of Penance – Reconciliation – Year 3
- Sacrament of Eucharist – First Communion – Year 4
- Sacrament of Confirmation – Year 6.
