Students are valued as integral members of the school community, and as such, their ideas, hopes and aspirations contribute significantly to our school’s direction and culture. Student voice is sought and valued.
At John the Baptist School Catholic Primary School Bonnyrigg Heights, leadership is encouraged and nurtured. Our student representative council is made up of ten students from Year 6, including two school captains. Eight sports captains also take on leadership in the sports domain. These students contribute to decision-making, welcoming, outreach, committees, presentations and school spirit initiatives.
